John the Rail Man, Thanks for rendering a meticulous job that involved a very creative thinking to design and build an artistic, sturdy, yet removable rail system to complete our home's renovation.. When you came for the estimate, you spent much time explaining the procedure, physicallyshowing us from your truck various rail, ballister and hardware options, and mocking up exactly how our wood rail - iron ballister system would look. This was extremely helpful for ensuring what was built met our expectations. You answered our every question professionally , and were friendly and cheerful throughout the planning and construction, As well, you suggested combinations that you had found aesthetically pleasing from your years of experience. As a professional engineer, I quickly recognized your expertise and enjoyed the experience of working with a true craftsman. Thanks again from Randolph, NJ.

March 23, 2012 - Our house was built in 1941 and really needed some updates, which included replacing an old stair railing that did not really fit with the look of our home. In speaking with our wonderful contractor, Jonathan Novalis, he told me he has worked with a guy for many years, who is a true artist when it comes to staircases and stair railings. Jonathan was absolutely right. John is a master craftsman, who takes him time, tells you his vision and listens to you when you tell him what you are thinking. We are absolutely thrilled with our new stair railing and would highly recommend John. He did a wonderful job and took much pride in his work. Thank you, John.

John recently replaced our outdated metal railings with new wood railings and they look wonderful!! He matched the finish on the railings to our newly refinished hardwood floors perfectly! He is a talented craftsman who knows what he is doing! It was my pleasure doing business with him and I am happy to pass on a recommendation. Branchburg, NJ

Thank you John for a beautiful job on our railings! Due to the style and year (1945) our home was built, our staircase looked a bit odd not having a bottom step but a platform. For aesthetic reasons and space, we wanted to remove the platform and replace it with a step. After calling many Rail & Stair Companies and not getting any responses back, we began to get very frustrated. We did some research on the internet and found John. John removed the platform and replaced it with a step to make our staircase look like 1 whole unit. Not an easy task since he made the transformation on the exiting staircase. Looking at it now, you would never know there was a platform there. John is a miracle worker. We also wanted to replace the railing since it was so old and wobbly. We found a wrought iron design that we liked and showed it to John. John custom designed a completely different style that was more appropriate for our style staircase and home. We are 100% completely satisfied with the final result! John is a very hard worker and is a master at his craft. There is no one else like him. We highly recommend John for your next railing project. - Eric & Rachel Halton
