John just did my railing in old bridge today and I am very impressed with the quality of work they did. They replaced my old metal railing from the 50s with a wood + metal combo. I originally had an idea of what I wanted to do but after meeting with John we came up with a design that best suits my house. He has thousands of pictures on his laptop and can show you similar setups that he's done in the past. It's nice to see there is still someone out there that cares about the quality of work they do.

We have a 1920's colonial in Westfield, NJ with a complex staircase that has a 180 degree turn that spans four steps. John worked with us step-by-step to design and build a handrail that matched the existing chestnut wood. The handrail was completely custom, it turned out great and looks like it's always been there.

John came by the first day to our home in Piscataway to do the estimate showing us pictures of jobs he did similar to what we wanted. We agreed on price and he came back two weeks later to do the job. We are completely satisfied with the job.

Michael D.C. said: I live in Scotch Plains in a 1924 Dutch Colonial with the interior chestnut woodwork intact except for a wrought iron railing install on the stairway in the 60's. I visualized a wood railing that would bring back the living room's original character. I contacted John and he visited my home with banister and spindle samples for me to select from. He recently finished the railing and it's exactly as I envisioned. John's measurement's were accurate and he matched the railing's wood grain and color to the existing woodwork so it blends in perfectly. He did the work himself and finished the job in a timely manner. I highly recommend him if you need quality railing workmenship done in your home.

We live in a newer model colonial style home in Lopatcong Township,NJ, and decided to add some richness to the wooden staircase but wanted to keep our existing wooden posts. My wife researched for specialists in wrought iron balusters and also staircase craftwork and located John at aesthetic craft wood railings. Well John came to our home, gave us a free estimate and made us feel confident and secure that we could have this done. He explained all of color options, sizes and also laid out some samples for us to see. We decided to hire John for the job and let tell you, he is very professional came with tons of equipment and the work was nothing short of amazing! He kept to his price and did an outstanding job. If you are considering a project involving your staircase, we highly recommend John at aesthetic craft wood railings.
